How do you summarize 2022 from a real estate standpoint?
2022 was a very special year for Acro, as our company went public and started to be traded on the Tel Aviv stock exchange. It is a year of transit from many points of view as the market started to stabilize after a couple of years of post-Covid effects and a worldwide change in macroeconomics as the interest rate was rising. In 2022 we deepened our hold in the Tel Aviv market as we started marketing new projects in different neighborhoods and extended our reach to new developments in more parts of Tel Aviv.
What’s the biggest challenge you encounter in the Israeli market?
The biggest challenge in the Israeli real estate market is the gap between supply and demand. The shortage in the available supply of apartments puts pressure on prices to rise on the one hand and on developers to put in extra efforts in acquiring building land on the other hand.
